Job Description:

Murror, a pioneering AI mental health company, is seeking a creative and innovative Game Designer to join our team. We are dedicated to using artificial intelligence to create engaging, therapeutic gaming experiences that promote mental wellness. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating games that not only entertain but also provide meaningful support to individuals dealing with mental health issues.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop interactive games that incorporate AI technology to address various mental health topics, including stress management, anxiety reduction, and emotional resilience.

  • Collaborate with psychologists, therapists, and AI developers to ensure the games are therapeutically beneficial and scientifically grounded.

  • Create engaging narratives, characters, and game mechanics that encourage users to explore mental health concepts in a safe and supportive environment.

  • Utilize user feedback and behavioral data to refine game designs and ensure they meet the needs of our diverse user base.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in gaming, psychology, and AI technology to innovate and improve our gaming offerings.

  • Participate in all phases of game development from concept to launch, including storyboarding, prototyping, testing, and iteration.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Game Design, Psychology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in game design, with a portfolio that demonstrates a range of projects, including serious or therapeutic games.

  • Strong understanding of game mechanics, dynamics, and aesthetics, and how they can be used to positively influence mental health.

  • Experience working with AI technologies and an understanding of how they can be integrated into games to enhance user experience.

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams.

  • Creative thinker with a passion for mental health advocacy and a commitment to creating games that make a difference.

  • Proficiency in game development tools and software such as Unity, Unreal Engine, or similar.
